Experience the luminous, tactile world of encaustic art! This introductory workshop is a perfect way to explore painting with molten beeswax and pigment in a relaxed, guided environment. You’ll learn the basics of fusing, layering, and simple mark-making techniques — and leave with one completed encaustic artwork you’ll be proud to display.
Whether you’re brand new to encaustic or simply curious about working with heat, wax, and texture, this sampler is designed to give you a taste of the medium before committing to our two-day summer Encaustic Intensive.
